Application of Proportion-air Electric Proportional Valve in Pressure Control of Leakage Test

 
Leak testing is an important step in many industrial and product manufacturing processes. The tested part may need to meet a certain leakage threshold to become a qualified product. Perhaps the leakage rate of the product is known, and any higher flow rate will make it unqualified.
 
This example requires precise pressure control and uses a flow sensor to monitor the leakage of the component under test. In constant current (dynamic conditions) applications, QPV is a good choice. The high-resolution scale QPV keeps the pressure in the part under test within extremely tight tolerances. The leak at this pressure is then actively measured by the flow sensor. The smooth and stable control of the proportional solenoid valve leads to no error in the output of the flow sensor.
